K.D.F.9 AND PEGASUS COMPUTER SPECIFICATIONS: ELASTIC ANALYSIS OF GRILLAGES UNDER COMBINED LATERAL AND AXIAL LOADS.

Abstract

The report describes K.D.F.9 and PEGASUS Computer Programs which can be used to calculate, for uniform or non-uniform grillages or beams: (i) deflections and bending stresses under combined lateral and axial loading including the effect of initial deformations, (ii) elastic buckling loads, (iii) elastic buckling modes, (iv) natural frequencies and modes of vibration including the influence of axial loads. Torsional effects are excluded but shear deflections are included. (Author)
