TELEMETRY AND COMMAND ANTENNAS FOR THE ATMOSPHERIC COMPOSITION SATELLITE.

Abstract

The design of the telemetry and command antennas for the Atmospheric Composition Satellite (ATCOS) is presented. Radiation patterns, impedance, and bandwidth are presented for each of the five radio frequency links which were used on the ATCOS. Three of the links are on separate antenna systems while two links are diplexed on a single antenna system. (Author)
