Abstract
A summary of rain erosion phenomena including general considerations, laboratory rain erosion test methods, a discussion of the performance which can be expected from various classes of polymeric coatings when formulated as rain erosion protectives and a bibliography of some of the major reports issued on the subject, is presented.
