THE SOLUTION OF CERTAIN FUNCTIONAL EQUATIONS.
Abstract
The problem considered in the paper is that of solving differential equations in a Banach space, that is, to construct an operator which has a given Gateaux derivative. The solution to this problem is obtained in a fashion analogous to the solution of the initial-value problem for an ordinary differential of first order, which leads to bounds for the growth of the operator solution.
