OBSERVATIONS ON THE POSSIBILITY OF OBTAINING STREPTOMYCIN-FAST FORMS OF P. PESTIS WITH THE AID OF DNA PREPARATIONS

Abstract

The possibility of transfering streptomycin resistance to Pasteurella pestis through the medium of the DNA of resistant strains was investigated. Incubation of the recipiant strains with DNA under a variety of conditions failed to yield any indication that such a transfurance takes place.
