SOME APPLICATIONS OF LINEAR DIFFERENTIAL VECTOR EQUATIONS.

Abstract

Progress in the field of functional analysis along with the advent of modern computers has updated the classical approach for solving dynamical problems of electrical circuits and systems. Linear differential equations appear abundantly in the study of electronic circuits and systems. The method presented in this report for solving these equations is based on the concept of a linear space and its mapping. Vectors of linear differential equations, norm of the input and output spaces, initial condition space, solution space, and matrices of differential equations are fully discussed. A number of carefully selected examples are inserted. Further applications of the theory in the context of State Space Technique, Stability, Controllability and Observability are given in a supplementary report. This report along with its companion report should hopefully present a self-contained introduction to the study of vectors of linear differential equations and dynamical systems. (Author)
