Abstract

The report is the first in a series of studies to be conducted dealing with the feasibility of applying the unit load concept of materials handling to reprovisioning at sea. The material presented in this report will provide a basis of evaluating equipment and methods aboard the USS Rigel (AF-58) and the USS VEGA (AF-59). (Author)
