REUSABLE CONTAINERS
Abstract
The report covers a number of reusable containers larger than can be handled by one man. They are suitable for specific applications, but their over-all value to the supply system has not been determined. Some of these containers may be used for general cargo, while others are specially designed for transporting liquids and/or granular materials. The lack of definite field requirements for these containers made evaluation difficult. Should a specific problem arise, however, where a reusable container is required, suitable containers could be tested and evaluated. Photographs and general information concerning the containers investigated are included.
