DEVELOPMENT OF MECHANICAL, DEMOUNTABLE, CARGO UNLOADING ATTACHMENT FOR LVT CRAFT.

Abstract

The type of unloader under consideration will eject satisfactorily pallet loads or material which have a continuous bottom surface after certain minor design modifications have been performed; however, net loads of material dumped onto this type of ejector or any other conceivable similar ejector cannot be expected to be unloaded without the use of manpower or additional handling equipment. Loose cargo or material dumped onto sheets of plywood or some other similar flat surface which does not have interference with the walls of the LVT can be made to eject without difficulty. (Author)
