DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONNEL SAFETY PALLET.

Abstract

An investigation was made to evaluate personnel safety pallets presently being used in warehousing and maintenance operations and to develop a prototype model incorporating maximum safety features, which may be used as standard by naval supply activities. A basic design of a personnel safety pallet in two sizes was developed. This pallet will perform efficiently and safely for use in stowing or breaking out items of stock or for maintenance work.
