CLIMATOLOGICAL REPORT NO. 3, DUGWAY VICINITY

Abstract

A brief description is given of the Dugway Proving Ground, Utah surrounding terrain and vegetation, and a summary of the various climatic elements. Climatological data were compiled from records maintained at the U. S. Air Force Weather Station, Dugway Proving Ground. Wind direction and speed were recorded at selected locations utilizing mobile meteorological stations. The data for the climatological report were recorded at varying time intervals from 1943 to 1965.
