LISTING OF SELECTED ELECTRONIC DC VOLTMETERS,

Abstract

The report presents a brief discussion on some important factors affecting accuracy in dc electronic voltmeters and lists instruments of this kind that fall within certain specifications. A detailed description of the circuitry and operation of the voltmeters has been omitted. The specifications governing selection of the instruments contained herein include a wide voltage range (1mv to 1kv), and high input impedance (1M ohms to 500M ohms) and accuracy (plus or minus 1% fs). However, these specifications have not been strictly observed so that the listings contain some instruments of superior capabilities and some that do not quite meet the specifications mentioned above. Although the report is concerned mainly with solid-state, analog dc voltmeters, many of the instruments included have functions other than dc voltage measurements, but only their specifications as dc meters are listed. Also additional lists containing digital instruments and analog vacuum tube voltmeters have been included for information and comparison purposes. All three lists are arranged by manufacturer and model number. (Author)
