EVALUATION OF FUEL CELL ELECTRODES.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate low-temperature matrix fuel cell electrodes on the basis of performance, cost and endurance characteristics. Testing was performed on two by two inch cells. Endurance tests of 2000 hours were completed on standard alkaline electrodes and on one type of low-cost anodes. Initial screening tests were performed on several other low-cost cathodes and anodes.
