TORSIONAL VIBRATION STUDY OF 250 KW D.C. DIESEL GENERATOR SET FOR INSTALLATION ON DOLPHIN (AGSS 555).
Abstract
A torsional vibration test was carried out on a 250 KW D.C. Diesel Generator set to be installed on DOLPHIN (AGSS 555). Test results show that the levels of torsional stresses at various resonances are well below the maximum limits as determined by MIL-STD-167. (Author)
