FOURIER TRANSFORMS, GENERALIZED FUNCTIONS AND TWO CLASSES OF INTEGRAL EQUATIONS, PART I.

Abstract

This report is concerned with some Wiener-Hopf type integral equations for which the Fourier transforms of the solutions must be considered as generalized functions. The proper fundamental spaces are studied together with the structure of the generalized functions on these spaces. These results will be used in another paper to obtain the solutions to some Wiener-Hopf equations.
