DEVELOPMENT OF MAGNESIUM WAFER CELLS.

Abstract

Three containers were designed to contain expansion. The first is a metal sleeve with tabs at each end which are folded over and secured. Batteries tested perform well, with little evidence of battery sophistications of the first method and are yet untested. One of the major causes of high temperature failure was traced to the inter-cell connectors. No discharge results are available on improved batteries. (Author)
