MEASUREMENT OF ANTENNA NEAR FIELDS.

Abstract

The solutions of such problems as Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance and radio frequency compatibility in the HF band require a near field measurement capability. Existing far field instruments are unsuitable for this purpose. A universal electromagnetic probe, which will measure the three vectors of an elliptically polarized HF field, is described and analysed. (Author)
