COMPLEMENTARY VARIATIONAL PRINCIPLES IN NEUTRON DIFFUSION THEORY.

Abstract

Complementary variational principles associated with neutron diffusion in solids are presented. The resulting formulae are used to derive new expressions which provide upper and lower bounds for the absorption probability. (Author)
