HIGH-FREQUENCY DIFFRACTION OF THE RADIATION FROM A NEARBY SOURCE.

Abstract

An approximate formula is found for the field produced on the boundary of an obstacle in an inhomogeneous medium by a source which is close to the boundary. Both harmonic and aperiodic waves are discussed. (Author)
