MEMORY UNIT,

Abstract

A memory device containing matrices of magnetic multiple-orifice elements with interrogation windings passed through some of the openings of the elements, output windings passed through other openings of the elements, and bias windings passed through the same openings as the interrogation windings which has the distinguishing feature that, for the purpose of simplifying the scheme of control of the device in each matrix divided in two, the windings of interrogation are passed through in one half in accordance with the bias winding, and in the other in the opposite direction.
