ON A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE EARTH'S FIGURE,
Abstract
A new method for determining the shape of the earth is offered. It permits one to present the theory regarding the figure of both the regularized and non-regularized earth from a single point of view. In addition, all the previously obtained integral equations, which determine the figure of either the regularized or non-regularized earth, may be obtained in a simpler and shorter way by using this method.
