PROBLEM-SOLVING WITH JOSS,
Abstract
JOSS is a 'computing aid interacting with the user by means of a simple language'. The aim of this report is to acquaint users with the language and the manner of interaction to immediately enable them to solve problems on JOSS. The report enumerates the commands and shows by examples and discussion JOSS's response to each of them. The user should be able, with an understanding of these basic principles, to solve progressively more involved scientific problems. (Author)
