NEW MODIFICATIONS OF SPORTS AIRCRAFT; ON THE YAK-18A IN A CIRCLE,

Abstract

The twin-seater aircraft Yak-18 is a single-engine monoplane with low cantilever wing and retractable landing gear. The presence of a radio station, radio compass, aircraft intercommunication system, landing flaps, brake wheels and a system of air-starting the engine provide this craft with numerous advantages in comparison with its predecessors. The new sports-pilotage aircraft will considerably increase the quality of training sportsmen-aviators. It is assumed that the Yak-18P will prove a worthy competitor of foreign-made craft during world competitions in aviation acrobatics.
