CLIMATOLOGICAL PROBABILITY OF AIRCRAFT ICING

Abstract

The report presents seasonal Northern Hemisphere isopleth charts depicting the climatological probability of aircraft icing at 5,000, 10,000, 15, 000, and 20,000 feet. It also describes the method used in determining these probabilities. A discussion of the data employed is also given.
