VIBRATION MACHINES AT THE DAVID W. TAYLOR MODEL BASIN,

Abstract

Several types of vibration machines are used at the David Taylor Model Basin for calibrating vibration instruments and for obtaining the vibration characteristics of ships and equipment. In the report these machines are described, some of their characteristics are listed, and brief operating instructions are given. (Author)
