MECHANICAL DESIGN AND TESTING OF THE NAVIGATION SATELLITE MICROMINIATURIZED DIGITAL TELEMETRY SYSTEM.

Abstract

The report summarizes the development and testing of a microminiaturized packaging concept for use in the Navigation Satellite. Two basic types of modules were used. One utilized thin film deposited circuits; the other utilized welded components. Interconnections were made by inserting the module pins through a multilayer mother board and wave soldering the assembly to secure the connections. (Author)
