STRUCTURE IN THE TOTAL 24MG(N.P), 27A1(N,P), AND 27AL(N ALPHA) CROSS SECTIONS FROM 12 TO 15 MEV,

Abstract

The relative cross sections of the 24Mg(n,p), 27Al(n,p), and 27Al(n, alpha) reactions were measured with accuracies of a few per cent of better. All three excitation functions fluctuate with periods of the order of a few hundred kilovolts and magnitude of a few per cent. The observed structure is consistent with the Ericson theory. (Author)
