Abstract

The report describes the design of the electronic circuits of a stable direct-coupled amplifier and its application to those measurements in which small transient impulses of relatively long duration must be accurately resolved. The performance characteristics of the amplifier are discussed, and complete electrical specifications are included. A detailed procedure for installing, calibrating, and operating the instrument is presented, with service notes, schematic diagrams, and component-parts lists. (Author)
