FUTURE AIR-GROUND-AIR COMMUNICATION SUBSYSTEM INVESTIGATION. PART J: APPENDICES V THRU XIV, VOLUME VI.

Abstract

This volume covers the following: a mathematical model of channel utilization in terms of single aircraft parameters in low altitude airspace; a mathematical model of channel utilization in terms of single aircraft parameters in high altitude sectors; data tabulations, single aircraft positions; data summary, one hour time slices, terminal; recomputation of confidence intervals; air traffic projections, 1970-75; calculations of changes in channel demand due to ATC factors impacting on communications; and techniques for possible application in the synthesis of an optimum ATC A/G/A communications subsystem.
