CRYSTAL CHEMISTRY STUDIES.

Abstract

The work on the MeO-Cr2O3-O systems was largely completed and the results on the phase equilibrium part are reported as a technical appendix. Work continued on the MnO2-CrO2 system and work resumed on the site distribution of transition metal ions in glass. Investigations of the europium-titanium-oxygen system were concentrated in the lower metal-rich portion of the diagram and a new (Eu,Ti)2O phase was prepared. (Author)
