CALCULATION OF THE LAMINAR BOUNDARY LAYER ALONG THE GENERATING LINE OF A SUBLIMATING BODY OF REVOLUTION.

Abstract

A method is outlined for constructing finite-difference schemes to be used in calculating a laminar boundary layer on the basis of the laws of conservation. Examples are given of calculations of a boundary layer on a sublimating sphere, without taking chemical reactions into account. The effect of sublimation on the heat flux to the body is estimated. At the end of the article a method is given for constructing difference schemes by means of integral relations. (Author)
