DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR STEAM-DRIVEN FREE-PISTON AIR COMPRESSOR.

Abstract

A computer program is described that defines the relationship of geometry, motive force, compressed gases, etc, of a mathematical model for an experimental steam-powered, free-piston air compressor currently under development. It provides a detailed breakdown of all forces and kinetics involved in the compressor operation, including their modes of interaction and their effects on compressor performance. (Author)
