SUPERSONIC GAS FLOW PAST A CYLINDRICAL PROTUBERANCE OF A PLATE.

Abstract

Wind-tunnel investigation was made of the flow past a cylindrical protuberance on a plate at a Mach number of 2.5. The shape of the separation line and the pressure distribution and flow orientation at the surface of the plate, obtained for cylinders of various diameter and height, are presented in graphical form.
