SOME RESULTS OF EPIDEMIOLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS WITH VACCINOPROPHYLAXIS OF TICK-BORNE ENCEPHALITIS

Abstract

In a comparative study of the reactogenicity of encephalitis preparations a non-reactogenicity was noted for the native and dried vaccines. The distinct effectiveness of native tissue vaccine was observed in an extensive epidemiological experiment. In 50% of the cases a clinical diagnosis of tick-borne encephalitis was not confirmed in the laboratory. Further observations and investigations are required for clearing up the nature of the disease.
