STUDIES OF RANDOM NOISE: AN ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY,

Abstract

The bibliography contains a selection of papers, most of them annotated, on noise and the effects of noise on signals. Consequently, several surveys of information theory and papers dealing with interdependent aspects are included. Sources of the contemplated noise were either environmental or inherent in the equipment, which includes effects of both the atmosphere and other transmitters. Accordingly, several studies include non-Gaussian as well as Gaussian noise. (Author)
