POLYSENSORIC DETECTION UNDER LOCAL AND CENTRAL SIGNAL PROCESSING.

Abstract

The report applies decision theory to the problem of the detection of multiple signals in addive normal noise. Various constraints as to the physical location of the processing system are imposed and the resulting performance changes are calculated. The penalties for non-optional processing induced by the constraints are graphically shown. (Author)
