KINETICS OF THE THERMAL DECOMPOSITION OF AMMONIUM PERCHLORATE

Abstract

The kinetics of the reaction of the thermal decomposition of NH4ClO4 were investigated at 196.5C to 280C. The kinetic constants and the heat effect of the reaction were found. At the phase-transition point of NH4ClO4 only k2, the constant connected with the acceleration of the process, changes, whereas the value k1 continues to increase monotonously.
