HEAT AND HUMIDITY REQUIREMENTS IN NAVY SPECIFICATIONS.

Abstract

A study of existing and proposed specifications reveals extreme variation in temperature range, humidity level, number of test cycles, and duration of tests. Equipments installed in the same area, side by side, may be tested at completely different levels over completely different periods. A single temperature and humidity specification suitable for the purchase and test of all Navy ship and shore electronic equipment is recommended. (Author)
