INVESTIGATION OF STRESS CONCENTRATION NEAR A SQUARE HOLE WITH ROUNDED CORNERS IN A CYLINDRICAL SHELL,

Abstract

The report operators of third approximation are derived for the tangential components of stressed state, permitting investigation of the problems in 3rd approximation for elliptical, triangular and square holes. These operators also can be applied for a solution of the physically nonlinear problems. In addition, there is presented here an approximate solution for a cylindrical shell, weakened by a square hole having rounded corners, and subjected to varying loads. (Author)
