A SEMI-AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR MEASURING AND RECORDING THE PHASE AND AMPLITUDE OF TRANSMISSIONS FROM NWC.

Abstract

The report is concerned with a semi-automatic data recording system to be employed in recording the absolute field strength and relative phase of special transmissions of NWC, North West Cape, Australia, at many frequencies within the VLF band. Included is a discussion of the technique of absolute field strength and relative phase measurements using Loop and Monopole subsystems. Operating Instructions for these subsystems are provided as well as instructions for on-site processing of data. (Author)
