ANALYSIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF JAPANESE B ENCEPHALITIS VIRUS WITH THE ELECTRON MICROSCOPE.

Abstract

High specific activity of ATPase was demonstrated in the nuclear pores of choroid plexus epithelial cells of a normal mouse with our modified procedure of Wachstein-Meisel method for demonstrating ATPase. However, such activity has never been seen in the similar material infected with JEV. It has been suggested that the JEV particles might differentiate in the Golgi complex and especially associated with UDPase (nucleoside diphosphatase) activity. (Author)
