PULSED PLASMA STUDIES.

Abstract

This report covers the chronological series of events leading up to the integration of a pulsed plasma electric thruster system into a Naval Research Laboratory Satellite, Payload 140. The period covered is from April 1964 to June 1966, and the report describes the progress and problems associated with the system integration and in addition describes the case history of the attempts to obtain Air Force support in obtaining a launch vehicle for the payload. The last portion of the report covers the Bibliography of all publications generated directly or partially under this contract since 1959. (Author)
