Abstract

The principle of the book is not only rockets but rocket masters and enthusiasts. It is shown how the first idea of flight was conceived, how this idea was materialized and converted into the still imperfect rocket design and how the rocket scientists of the 20's, 30's and 40's made further accomplishments, so that in the 50's and 60's artificial earth satellites and manned spaceships could fly.
