Abstract

The work is an attempt to explain to what extent the study of magnetic properties can throw light on the origin of rocks and on the geological processes to which these rocks have been subjected. The investigation was made on the ferruginous quartzites of the Kursk magnetic anomaly's Storyy Oskol region. (Author)
