WAVES IN BOUNDED PLASMAS.

Abstract

The first part of the report is on magnetohydrodynamic waves in inhomogeneous plasma cylinders. The second part gives some general properties and a computer program for propagation in homogeneous dissipative anisotropic cylinders. The remainder of the report discusses modes related to the low-frequency electron cyclotron waves (helicons) found in infinite gaseous plasmas. (Author)
