ANTENNA UNIT AND SIGNAL SPECTRUM ANALYZER.

Abstract

The report presents a detailed description of the design and test evaluation of a breadboard system capable of detecting transient electromagnetic signals and determining the dominant spectral frequencies of these signals. The equipment is designed to process signals varying in amplitude over a 1000 to 1 range, and lasting for time intervals of less than 175 microseconds. The system indicates the dominant spectral frequency component within 10 milliseconds after the signal has been detected. (Author)
