SIMILARITY SOLUTIONS FOR THE RETARDED COMPRESSIBLE BOUNDARY LAYER WITH HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER,

Abstract

Similarity solutions are presented for the compressible laminar boundary layer with adverse pressure gradients showing the quantitative effect of heat and mass transfer on the wall shear and temperature gradient. Two suction parameters as well as wall temperatures ranging from absolute zero to twice the free-stream stagnation temperature are investigated for numerous adverse pressure gradients.
