DEVELOPMENT OF EAR PROTECTOR, ELECTROACOUSTIC MX-7307 ( ) / UIC.

Abstract

The report contains a summary of the work performed for the design and construction of an Ear Protector, Electroacoustic to be used with Intercommunication Set AN/VIC-1 when installed in armored vehicles provided with electrically fired weapons. The Ear Protector provides a pulsed tone into the crewmen's ears prior to the firing of the weapon, which protectively conditions the ears against the injurious blasts of the fired weapon. (Author)
