NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SYSTEMS.

Abstract

The work includes preliminary experimental results on conductivity, melting point, and current-voltage measurements for sodium trifluoromethane sulfonate and mixtures with lithium perchlorate. This mixture appears to form a eutectic with a melting point of 190C at about 35 mole percent lithium perchlorate. The conductivity of this mixture is 0.13/Ohm/cm at 300C. Other solvents which are being considered are triethylamine trifluoromethyl sulfonate and ethyl ethylsulfonate along with some other sulfur containing esters. (Author)
