A SURVEY OF VARIOUS INFORMATION DISPLAY DEVICES.

Abstract

The report represents a survey of the currently available display equipment that can be controlled by a digital computer. The equipment discussed ranges from simple incandescent readouts to cathode-ray tube displays. The report attempts to very briefly describe the various hardware characteristics and approximate costs of the readout and display field before setting out to design console equipment. (Author)
